Well, there's no way the price will stay up where it was before 90% of ADs had even received a single watch. Supply may still be very tight, but it's never going to be tighter than when the first few were trickling out.

I agree. They are falling from $22ish. Its insane to pay over MSRP.
Patience...

While I agree to some degree. This watch may never be at MSRP and if it is, it’s very likely the future MSRP will be higher than it is now. Some folks could have all the patience in the world and still maybe never see one at $9,250. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That Frederico talks watches guy posted a similar video a few years back on the DaytonaC’s.
Demand and distribution will dictate pricing the Pepsi. At the moment it’s very hot and in demand. |

I’d be surprised if the Pepsi falls like crazy. Frederick is probably talking his own book.
My AD and I were chatting and think that there will be an initial spurt of supply like the Daytona C then it’ll slow down again. |

I think the run will have legs w minor fluctuations. Availability impacts demand and price.

It is not in his interest to make a video about price of BLRO falling, since he is now a grey dealer. He did talk about lower wholesale price of BLRO between dealers, and that is up to other dealers to dispute if it was untrue.
I would be more skeptical if his video is about the price tripling in the short to mid term, and to grab it while stock last. |

I think it could be because consumers are learning to be patient.
Many of us are waiting and refusing to pay 125% of retail prices. In turn grey dealers are having difficult time moving these pieces, thus lowering prices. It is a game of patients. Grey dealers that can afford to hold, will. Smaller ones will lower their prices for a faster turn around. If rolex increases the supply, consumers win. If they dont, its a matter of time that the grey prices become the norm, just like the Daytonas. |

I have not seen even one Pepsi yet in Canada. There was one that came to a grey dealer but was already pre sold and it was a US watch. Very much still crazy hot in Canada.

They’ll drop whenever those jumping into the hype train move onto something else. Itll probably be something like the new Submariner whenever that comes out.

That’s what I’ve been saying as well. It’s going to fall and then it’s going to level off. It’s normal as the got to be first buyers will pay more than the it’s been out for six months purchasers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

In maximum 2 years prices will be at BLNR prices, a little above retail but nothing special, I am very happy to get one next Xmas, I might be ok to pay 1500-2000 premium if I didn't have my AD, but would never pay more, of course prices will fall just wait a little, the ones going for crazy prices are just because they haven't hit ADs yet, they will adjust

It will fall from current levels but I.thunk the demand and.shortage of SS overall will keep prices somewhat elevated.
$15k-$17k sounds about right But who knows as it's been 2 years since Daytona SS and grey prices are still $19k-$21k. Now I know SS shortage has contributed to this price point but i remember reading posts and listening to watch experts say that the SS Daytonas will be at MSRP or less in like 6 months to a year so just wait. I can't recall the peak of Daytonas SS grey prices but remember it dipping to as low as $16k-$18k for a short period of time then climbed again Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Youtube "expert" making claims, right. Not even worth the click. Thanks for the heads up though, let me know when it has fallen to MSRP.

He also posted the nonsense about the blue dial Skydweller being just a walk in watch at most Rolex AD’s (or some such nonsense)

It doesn't matter if dealer to dealer prices are falling (wholesale)...it's grey dealer retail prices that matter to the general public. I haven't seen them drastically falling. Fake news.

The first few always sell at a huge premium. A price level will be established in the secondary market once all dealers are getting regular supplies. One thing is for sure is that this piece will always have a strong following and strong residual values.

The very best case scenario will be similar availability to the BLNR & Hulk. However I can't even see that happening over the rest of 2018. |
