Which Sky-Dweller dial to pursue

Currently my core collection consists of a Rolex Air-King (current model) and a Breitling Navitimer GMT Aurora Blue.

The black dial SS SD looks best to me. Close second would be the blue dial. The white dial would make the most sense based on the two watches mentioned above (I think) although it is theoretically my least favorite of the three. Mind you I haven't seen any Sky-Dwellers in person so far.

I know I'll have to wait a bit for any of them... but which one should I request in your opinion? I am keeping the Air-King and Breitling regardless of which SD it ends up being.

I personally like the white dial best. There's a lot going on with that watch and the white makes the presentation a bit more sleek. Blue would be my 2nd choice.

You should choose the dial you like best.

The black on the Skydweller is a sunburst dial which is unique and would not be duplicative of a flat black dial, in my opinion.

Blue the hottest for some reason. Of course color is a personal choice. I've seen all three if it were me I'd go white or black. Probably black because I have a Polar, if I didn't I'd go white, it is as stunning as all of them.

I personally like the white dial myself. Rolex does incredible things when it comes to blue dials and the way they change with lighting. But if you already have a black dial and blue dial watch, the logically the white would be the way to go.

If black looks best to you, you already know. Pointless in purchasing another color to always have the thought in the back of your mind that you didn’t get the one you liked best

Make your choice that suits you best. It’s a big expense and only you will be happy in the end. You will get tons of votes for all the colors, I went with what I wanted and couldn’t be happier. Good luck

I prefer the black dial, but that’s just me, pick the dial color that speaks to you and what you will be happy with long term...

The white dial sings to me, but then again, I’ve never owned a white dial reference

Preference is blue having finally seen it in person, but quite honestly I like all three dials.

I had the black one first but switched to blue. I like the tones and difference of the blue dial Sky-Dweller

Go with the blue dial. But you gotta try them on. You may feel totally different when you see it on your wrist.

Thank you all for your replies. I didn't realize that the black dial is sunburst black, that helps. I want black and if I have to order one unseen, that will be it. That said, I really need to see them in person to remove any doubt. It's a large purchase and a watch for life likely.

Cannot understand these types of thread surely you are going to wear the watch so the dial choice should be yours and yours only.

You have blue so go for the black, with a rare sunburst dial.

What can't you understand? I like them all in theory, can only have one, asking for input of others to weigh pros and cons of each.
