Pole: Which yellow gold rolex will you choose

Basing this only on current models:

For me its gotta be the Yellow Gold Sub in blue, 116618LB, sporty and never lets under any occasions.

Of the choices I went with the 116618, Submariner. My preference in a broader range is the 218238 YG DD II.

Sub for me. In YG having a ceramic bezel tones it down a bit more. I chose RG for a DD.

Hope you can buy one soon as discounts are shrinking all the time, I stand to make a nice profit on mine now.

As I already have a gold sub and because I really loved the Day Date 36mm I had few years ago, my choice would be a day date.

There are so many variables and so many good choices...it would just boil down to what you wanted out of the watch, i.e., casual, sport, or "dressy". The sub/GMT options usually work best for me...and with their adjustability, make them hard to beat, especially in a heavier watch.
