A Hypothetical - Which model from these would you buy from an AD?
I had a fair amount of windshield time this past week so got to pondering a couple of different questions, some Rolex related and many not, but the best Rolex question I had, is as follows:
Which model from these would you buy from an AD as a 2nd piece to further your collection and enjoyment, versus purchasing the piece on the secondary market? Assume you already had a Stainless piece already - such as a GMT or Sub. You can imagine it being something fancy like a BLRO or whatever if that helps you come to a decision. ;) It seems to me that there is a matrix or crossover point where you want to go to your AD of choice instead of going secondhand, but I imagine it is different for everybody. Please answer the poll with the current availability situation in mind. If the situation was that everything was in stock everywhere, this would be a different conversation, I'm sure. :) In case anybody is curious, this list is mostly based off what I'm seeing out there in the various AD's cases over the last month or so. Hopefully this will be an enjoyable thread and foster lots of good discussion and comments. Last edited by emd710; 23 July 2018 at 07:44 AM.. Reason: Clarifying a point and cleaning up the list... |
