Will a Datejust Fluted Bezel fit an Oysterquartz case?

Or does the Oysterquartz use it's own bezel?

depends on which type of 36mm datejust fluted bezel.

it is worth noting that the plexi datejust (i.e. 1600 / 16000) have shorter fluted bezel (in height) than the fluted bezel that is used in sapphire models (i.e. 16200 / 116200 series).

Those fluted bezel that come with plexi datejust do not fit with sapphire crystal (i.e. this is because the plexi datejust's fluted bezel does not have enough height to hold down the thickness of the sapphire crystal with its gasket)

I do know this:

A replacement bezel on a 19018 OQ Day Date is the same one they used on the 18038. Have seen this documented on RSC service papers.

I’m thinking yes, but can’t be sure! I’ve seen OQ’s with flutted bezels before!
