I wonder if I asked the wrong question
what does it mean solid end link? I used to have a 1994 two tone black face sub The gold links in the middle of the bracelet were hollow thats not what solid end link means is it? |

Solid end links are only the links that attach to the case. The Sub never had solid end links until the ceramic models; the Sub Date got solid ends around 2001.
It is interesting because the cases began being machined to accept SEL's in the mid-90's (except the Sub that never got them), but they didn't get SEL's fitted until almost a decade later.
