Opinions on polish job wanted

I’m looking at a fairly priced BBB but it’s been polished and it’s kind of tough to tell from the photos. Curious everyone’s opinion.

(Been looking for this model for a bit by curious if I should spend a bit more for a cleaner example)

Yesterday I was loving the way the bevels on the bronze BB case shine. I know the watch is different, but . .

Yeah, just looking for a sanity check. Thanks guys! Part of the charm of this watch is the chamfered edges which this appears to have lost.

Too easy of a watch to find. That’s a hard pass for me. The polish job is not good.

Jesus, that is terrible. Looks like it was done in someone's garage with the lights off and a rough file.

Looks like the original owner polished it himself with sandpaper, I would buy it if it had a deep discount and send it into the RSC so they can service and fix the polish

It’s a poor job, but.

Presents a low offer opportunity for you.

Great beater potential.

It's a buy at $800 to 1000. Send it to LAWW to get fixed.

It's a pass at anything higher.

Fixed? That is beyond repair, there is not much of it left already. Just imagine how much more material would have to be removed to sharpen it up. It needs a new case. I would be very upset if my watch came back from service like that.. My 116613LB has some deep marks, I'll just be keeping all of them (my dents and scratches) forever, along with the correct case profile too thanks.

That's a chewed up Tudor.

How would they fix that? Toss it into a dumpster?

Looks like a homegrown attempt at a brush or polish job to me.

When I think of polished, I think shiny.
