GENEVA INCOMING - My first Tudor

After getting the call yesterday, I went down to Geneva this morning...

Went into the Patek salon to see about progress on my 2015 order. Beautifully looked after as always, and the charming salesman asked if he could try on my BLRO (which he loved).

Then I went to collect my first Tudor...

I’m very happy with the first impressions of my new purchase. The AD that I ordered it from (a week ago) were very pleasant to deal with, and I got the watch at Swiss MSRP, which was substantially less than elsewhere in Europe. I’ve ordered the leather strap (which comes on a rather lovely déployant clasp) which I’ll have next week.

Now I’m waiting to see if the date function works correctly....

Congratulations they both look amazing! Also very interesting to see the Tudor and Rolex GMT next to each other. It really shows how much bigger the Tudor GMT is.

Thanks. My 116719 isn’t going anywhere. At least not at the moment.

Many congrats!! Looks really nice.

I was doing some watch browsing yesterday at CDG Terminal 2E (M) and my eldest son, who rarely ever makes comments about ANY watches, pointed out the new GMT among a wall of Tudors and said it was a nice one!

Thanks. I had never really paid Tudor any attention until a few weeks ago. I could easily have left with two today...the BB Chronograph is great....

Excellent. Glad you got it. Congrats!

Hopefully the date will be fine. Mine had issues, but seems to be behaving now. Either way a great watch and easily fixed.

I have both the leather and bracelet also and it’s great to have the options. I’m going to pick up the fabric next week also I think.

Congrats! That Tudor is a lot bigger on the wrist for just being 1mm larger in size. Looks perfect on your wrist though!

Nice!

Personally, I’m feeling tingly thinking about the 58. Sadly, not at CDG, though.
