Tudor style 41mm vs DJ41

Hi All

I am looking for a dress warch to complement my sub c date. At the moment I am narrowed down to these two items. I really like 126300 blue dial smooth bezel with jubilee bracelet, but the tudor style at less than half of price also offering sleek and elegant design which I can't overlook.

Any thoughts would be really appreciated in term of movement quality, accuracy and any other view points

Thanks

I have never owned a Tudor, but by what I read of reviews Tudor is great value for the money. However my personal opinion is, I do not like any of the Tudor Style, Glamour or 1926 versions, so by that reason I would choose Datejust. But if you like them, then you should choose what you like.

I played with a Tudor Style a couple of years ago at an AD when I was looking fo my wife. Compared to the Datejust, there was no comparison in terms of build quality. The bracelet felt significantly more “tinny”, and overall the watch felt cheap compared to the Rolex.

Have you held both in your hands at the same time? I think Tudor is great, but every time I have a Tudor in one hand and a similar Rolex in the other, it becomes obvious to me that they just aren't comparable.

And, of course, they shouldn't be comparable. The Rolex is twice as expensive for a reason. But it's easy to forget how big a fit and finish difference there is.

I have a subc date and DJ41...great combo. Personally, I don’t understand the appeal of Tudor, they look cartoonish to me.
