Counterfeit Rolex box
http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Authenti...1%7C240%3A1318
This is one to avoid. 100% counterfeit. These 1990's boxes are one of the most counterfeited of all the Rolex box sets. The suade pillow and blanket are made from cloth instead of leather The blanket ends are very round vs the genuine blanket which is more pointed The wood on the inside of the box is the wrong color - very light vs a darker color on the genuine box Outer box should have "Oyster" in white script underneath "Rolex" script The warranty paper is also counterfeit based on the colors The top two photos are of the counterfeit box. The next photo is of a genuine Rolex box. The last photo is the counterfeit box depicting the cloth blanket with very rounded ends.

Hmmm, ok I just had a guy recently buy a watch from me, didnt like it. My fault, the guy I got if from is 100% honest but forgot to mention he put a high quality replacement band on it. He made the deal right, paid me back, apologized, I refunded the other guy who STILL hadn't sent my box back but I thought I was doing the right thing. So I do finally get the box set back. Different than the one I sent him but looked legit.
I sent it to someone I met here and should know tomorrow if it was a legit box. I never checked it either. Thanks for the box pictures John. I learned something today.........again Note to self: From this day forward, check everything complete. |

Err buddy Springer...that's a good catch...!
The Outer Box is FAKE as well...but what was being sold beside the boxes? Was there a watch being listed? How come there is a piece of paper that looks like a Rolex Guarantee Cert? That piece of paper looks funny...too. |

Orchi, no watch, just the boxes and counterfeit warranty paper. I believe ebay removed it.
