Incoming Hulk
So within 3 months I have purchased 3 Rolex's which I probably should not have done in so little time. First, it was the D-Blue, which took quite a while to get but I finally got the call and off to the AD I went, as I was walking out I told the lady that if she can get a Polar II give me a call. Less than a month later I get the call that it's in and it has my name on it. Well damn! I wasn't expecting it to arrive so soon. Well, ok, back up to the AD to get the Polar. As I was walking out with the Polar I inquired about the Hulk and that I really wanted one. She tells me that one will take quite a while to get ahold of. Cool, no problem, I assumed that would give me enough time to recover from the D-Blue and Polar. NOPE! Yesterday I got the call that the Hulk is in and it has my name on it. Crap! Ok, I can't give her the impression that I talk nonsense so back to the AD I go to get the Hulk. This time I keep my big mouth shut while walking out. I think, she thinks she has a whale, but I'm far from it.
I probably should have stopped at the D-Blue, then went after the Polar a few months later, then the Hulk about 6 months afterwards. But this Hulk OMG is a beauty and I love it! I love ALL of them! Now my girlfriend thinks I'm going off the deep end with this watch thing, she doesn't get it. I tried to explain to her that some people have boats, some have motorcycles, some even have planes, some have all three. I have none of those, all I have are these three watches. The only reaction I get is a confused look on her face. Maybe she'd rather have a boat, motorcycle, a plane, or all three Bank account is going to take a break for a while |

Congrats. All great pieces.
My advice, stop by every once in a while at the AD. Talk watches, life, whatever. Seems that he/she can deliver. And with your track record, he/she might even get you a Daytona or BLRO !! Enjoy in good health. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Very cool. You have great taste man. All you need now is the Daytona, Pepsi and a Day Date. You’ll be good to go then.

Funny you say that. It crossed my mind to open my big mouth and tell her to keep an eye out for those two but my luck she would have them next week then I would look like a fool.

Well after that you at least won’t have to buy Rolex brand anymore. You can then move to AP and Patek. So you have that going for you.

I kinda want that white face Daytona though.. I should just be content with what I have so far and sit back for a while and enjoy. |

What a great collection you've got there only in three months. Congratulations!
Your GF probably just thought that you could've bought her something nice instead of a third watch |

So far the Polar get's the most wrist time. I've only tired on the Hulk then it immediately goes back into the box. I have a rule that I won't wear a watch full time (or put it into rotation) until it's completely paid off. It was put on a cc

Dude, I’m like you. I’ve purchased 3 in the last 11 months (2 the past month). I’m done though. I love my collection. When I bought my second last month I said there’s no way I could handle a third. That theory went out the door when I saw the BLNR. Luckily I’m not a fan of the sky dweller, Daytona or BLRO. I agree, many of friends have a boat or a weekend sports car. I prefer my watches over those toys because they last generations. I fell in love with Rolex because my wife wears her father’s 50yo Rolex, very special. I’m contemplating giving my dad my DJ41 because rotating three is tough for me. Enjoy your collection!
