Hi Everyone,

I have a bit of a dilemma, purchased 2 x Rose Gold DD40s (Olive Green and Chocolate). I'm having some regrets because I think it overlaps too much and I am thinking of flipping the Olive Green dial for a YG DD40 with either the white dial or the champagne dial.

I think replacing one of these RG DD40s with a YG DD40 will change up my collection a bit + I'm moving more towards YG these days its more iconic classic gold.

I've decided to keep the chocolate dial already its not a debate on the green vs chocolate.

Which do you guys prefer the champagne or the white? I love both the champagne is classic but the white is also classic but just so clean and crisp.

Also if anyone has the white dial YG please post some pictures I cant find that many on google in natural lighting and outside.

I cant make up my mind.

Both are great looking watches, but the white dial is much easier to read IMO.

Agree. White dial with gold hands is much easier to see. That gets my vote.

I had the champagne tapestry dial on a yellow gold day date and it was difficult to read. White all the way.

i personally prefer champagne because its sunburst and completes the look of the yg dd. the white dial is super clean but it kind of tones down the flashiness of the watch

i originally wanted a white dial dd36 but when i saw it in person i felt like something was missing and when i saw the champagne dial i knew that was the one

have you considered silver?

They both look stunning, but if pressed I'd recommend the white dial. I agree with you that it is clean and crisp in white. Either way that's going to be a killer combo with one yellow gold and one rose gold.

Thanks guys for all your inputs. Looks like majority on the white dial which I am also leaning towards.

I used to have a champagne dial DJ41 TT and it was nice however it didn't stay with me for long.

This picture it looks so good. Any real life pics would be great to the current owners of this YG DD40 white dial.

I like them all but prefer the white dial in the YG as it is the most legible for me. The white dial also brings a crispness to the YG that several other dial don't. I own the DD II with the white roman numeral dial and it is a special piece.

Champagne is the classic, however the white offers both a nice contrast and is easier to read. I'd go white.

Tough one for me. In pictures I say white. Legibility too but that may not be an issue for you. But when I've seen the champagne dial in person I think it looks really special. Probably best to go with white, that and a chocolate RG are a great pair.

The champagne looks a LOT better in the flesh than pics...got to try one on a year or so ago, and it was breathtaking.

That said, I'd probably go with the white between those two. Actually I would go with the silver, if that's even a possibility.

Although mine is 36mm. Hands are harder to read, but the overall look, particularly with the sunburst effect in sunlight is stunning. But then, I have other watches if legibility suddenly becomes such a concern I can't turn my wrist to see the hands.
