38mm look too small?

Does this 38mm Laureato look too small on my 6.5” wrist? I know it’s a subjective question but still curious to hear what other members on the forum think. I’ve never owned a watch smaller than 40mm before. Maybe I'm just not used to wearing a watch this size and need some time getting used to? It's also worthwhile mentioning that I'm 6'1" tall.

I think it looks fine given the large extremities-to-extremities of the watch, from the pic.

Looks ok. It's most of the time not just the absolute diameter but also how the watch case design plays a big part. Some watches wears big and some wears small.

Pictures are difficult based on the angles but I think it looks great. I think watch sizes have a lot to do with what we get used to wearing. Go for it.

Looks like it fits properly. My wrist is just a little smaller than yours and I think 36mm is the optimal size. Of course I wear most 40mm too.

I think it looks fantastic (esp. the panda dial with blue hands). I too am 6'1" but have thin wrists so I tend to shy away from anything 39mm+.

Are you looking to buy from an AD? Asking because I'm also in the market for the 38mm non-chrono Laureato.

Thanks! I really like the new Laureatos. I picked this one up from an overseas dealer without seeing it in person. I had a choice between the 42 and the 38mm version. I have an AP RO 15400 in 41mm so I opted for the smaller version to add some variety to my collection. The non-Chronos are nice too and I bet they’d look bigger without the subdials. Happy hunting!

The watch is not too small, however the dial gives a smaller than actual appearance due to the black outer ring... makes the watch appear smaller than it is.
