This watch is not that rare to ask for $30K
Just because it has a zenith movement?!
Is this wishful thinking? http://cgi.ebay.com/Rolex-Daytona_W0...1%7C240%3A1318 |

TTG,
The seller is asking that amount because it is supposedly Brand New - which I doubt. More likely recently polished. Even if it was brand new he should divide his price by 2 (at least). |

Ahhh, brand new. He should post other pictures to include the back.
Agree with you, divided by 2... |

Geeeee! That looks just like a Rolex with an El Primero movement in it. DUHHHHHH
Only people who care about it having an El Primero movement are the ones who know how good a movement it is. And it might be a long time before those are collectors items. Most people who own a Daytona like whatever movement it has, Zenith's or Rolex's. I sold a Daytona with a "El Primero" movement in it. Amazing how it only brought what a Daytona would bring, El Primero didn't carry allot of weight at that time. Moral of Jim's story is most purist prefer a complete Rolex over a Rolex with an outside source's movement in it. Even if the outside source's movement is better. I can truly say that because I have owned 4 Zenith's at some point and time. |

Remember, guys - there's a sucker born every minute, and this seller is looking to prove it.
