Hello,
are there any experts out there to advise me on the value of the OFFICIAL Dealer Catalogues? Can buy from years: 2005-2006 2006-2007 2007-2008 2008-2009 2009-2010 2010-2011 2012-2013 2013-2014 2014-2015 2015-2016 Any help is appreciated. Thanks and regards from Mill Valley/California A US AD who lost his license wants to sell me the catalogues. I am hesitant as the price he asks seems very, very high. He claims that these catalogues are not around and normally can't be bought. Regards Last edited by Tools; 21 August 2018 at 08:53 AM.. |

Put them up for sale at the proper sight. You'll find out pretty quick what some are willing to pay. That's usually how I price collectibles I'm not attached too.

I would say a hundred or a little more. They're certainly not worth a fortune. There are many people who like to collect this sort of stuff through including the regular catalogs intended for customers. I have several from Rolex and AP.

.
These catalogs are hard to find because they are not generally available for public. Sometimes AD sell them, especially when they receive the next one, and depending how much persons are interested at the time they appear for sale, the price can go (very) high. Price also depends how old the catalog you buy is when you buy it. As an exemple, you will pay a lot more today for a 2018/2019 catalog than you would pay the same catalog 5 years from now ... Coming from the personal collection of an AD you have to check them one by one to verify how used they are. They have been used on a daily basis during one year each to present models to prospects/customers ... I already have the 10 catalogs you're describing (amongst many others), all in perfect condition (never used in a shop) ... the price I paid vary from 50€ to 300€ each for these 10. |
