Opinions on this "Fat Lady"?

While I hate the idea of buying from Ebay, I was wondering what you guys think of this........

Err buddy...Elvis...if Orchi may say so...in spite of the watch
looking genuine...Orchi won't take a bite at it...even at its low
asking price...

With those pictures posted...you could see that there is a heavy
dent by the case side(between 8-9 o'clock)...which would require
heavy re-polishing works in order to make it disappear...

But by doing so...the case won't be nice anymore...

Worst would be...to get a service replacement case at RSC...but
besides incurring higher replacement cost...
a Rolex Vintage watch with service replacement case...does
not appeal to keen collectors...

There are better examples of 16760 GMT Master "FatLady" elsewhere
n in eBay auctions as well...

Take your time to check them all...if you are keen on getting one.

jeez, that took a big hit to do that damage to an Oyster case - imagine what it did to the movt!! Could have movt problems as a result.

regards

That is a huge dent. That would cause some genuine pause to even remotely consider the possible purchase of it. I understand too well about case damage. It would lead to an expensive replacement case for me which would destroy the vintage period of the watch. Too bad.
