Glidelock bezel stuck!
Hi all,
I've had my ceramic sub date (2012) for 6 years now. Never had a problem until recently when I tried to adjust the glidelock and realized its stuck. I took some pictures of it and noticed that the half link connecting to the glidelock system has backed out and is preventing the glidelock from popping up to adjust. I took this to Orlando Rolex who suggested a Rolex service. Just curious if any others have experienced this problem? Is this something I could try repairing myself? Thanks for the help! |

I’ve seen this once. You would have to get a skinny screw driver or a needle, find the screw slot and tighten it back in as best possible. Once you can open the glide lock again, the screw threads need loc-tite. Whoever sized your watch in the past didnt use loc-tite on that screw.

Rolex Orlando sized my watch when I bought it in 2012. They told me they always put loc-tite, and that couldn't be the reason for this failure... |
