Why is this not available in the US?
Hello Seiko guys, I have been a fan for a long time although currently don’t own one. I am making a trip to South America and don’t want to take my Rolex, so was going to use this as an excuse to buy a new watch I thought I would pick up a 777, the classic of all classics, but saw this one and fell in absolute love. I was looking on the Seiko website for a dealer nearby, but this watch does not appear on the US website I see it in Australia, Asia, but not here? Is this common?

I think the situation is getting a little better but I think Seiko has always shortchanged the US a bit on selection. There are plenty of reliable overseas vendors though for Seiko, if you can find the reference # for it, you should be able to find one. I gave used creationwatches and chronograph.com in the past successfully.
