Put my name down for the BLNR......

So give me a good laugh, how long do you think I will be waiting. I am based in Scotland and I bought my first Rolex with this AD last year, it was a Mk1 SD50.

So really my question is how much will this help me get my second Rolex from the same Ad? Also the impossible question is what is the time frame?

Cheers all.

My prediction, and it's based on my own experience, within one month. Good luck!

I’m going with 6 months, +/- 1. Please do follow up when you get it. You know, feed the machine.

I really hope you are right! They didn’t sound positive when I spoke to them, no time frame was given.

Thank you!

My initial thoughts was around the 6 month mark so if it is before that then it is a bonus. Haha I will do! Cheers.

just visit AD or call at least once a week. You'll be surprised, one day the watch may be there for you.

I also put my name down at my AD past weekend and my sales lady told me to stop by whenever I can in case :)

What Scotland AD do you use?
Waiting times here have got bigger in my experience and most are lucky to get maybe 8 or so BLNR a year whilst many have literally hundreds on their list.

Good luck but I wouldn’t expect one before next year.

Oh really! That bad! My local AD is in Glasgow. I was very lucky to get my SD50 so quickly last year so hoping for some good luck with this one as well.

It’s strange in the Rolex world..

I walked into my AD on Sunday for a chat and a coffee. No intention of buying a watch.

1 hour later I walked out with this. the customer that ordered it failed to show on 3 occasions... his loss my gain

My brother waited around 12months for the call, he got a BLNR in Scotland last week from an AD he had never bought from before.

Put myself on the list in Switzerland. Was quoted 6-8 months but got the call within a week! Going to pick it up on the weekend

The fact that they put you a list is a good start... some ADs in London won't even do that...

Good luck and I hope you get the call sooner than you think.

Ive spent 10K plus at my AD and ive been waiting over 5 months now for a BLNR.

I did get a call to say I will get one before Christmas though, so Id say anticipate a 12 month wait and any sooner its a bonus.

I am in the same boat - My AD (I know they all say different things) said that the BLNR's are no longer in the catalogue so they think they may discontinue them soon…..No timeframes given and I haven’t heard this from anyone else so it could be BS (probably is).

Thanks everyone for your replies. I will keep on asking my AD and see if that helps. I will be sure to put an incoming post up when I get it.

Any history should help but it won't make it come in any quicker. Ok my guess, 8 weeks

Its 43mm so SD43 makes more sense

Been on my ADs “list” for 8 months for the BLNR. Not a new customer, I haven’t spent hundreds of thousands but I have bought 2 watches from them in the last year. Lost my patience because the holidays are coming up and stock dries up even more, contacted dsw lol.

I heard that buying an already sought after watch like the SD50 puts you nowhere closer on this "list" they put people on for these watches and that the real people at the front are the PM, twotone, and DJ purchasers. These are the watches that Rolex want these AD's to move to get the hot pieces and they reward the people who help them move it (like a lot of the grey guys) by giving them first dibs to these.

I think because that version commemorates the 50th anniversary.
