Advice
Hey guys, I’ve got a black sub date c which I love and I’m getting a BLNR really soon which I can’t wait for, but I think I would like to buy a two tone blue sub c also. What do you think about this watch and those 3 as a trio together? I really am not sure whether to buy it new or pre owned as it trades for new new price anyway and I’ve seen quite a few over list price now.
Advice and comments please. Thanks Daniel |

Personally I would not own two GMT watches, too many other watches to own and enjoy to duplicate.

Brian, do you actually read the original posts, or do you just make random proclamations

Oops I misread that as a BLNR and a two tone GMT, sorry. Too much on my other two monitors

Honestly, I would go Sub, GMT, and then a YM or SD....vary up your complications.

If you're going to have two Sub dates you may as well go totally different. The range of materials and colours available in the Sub range make this possible. I have a Hulk and a Blusey is coming. Don't know how I will stay away from a black one to complete my little set, but the present supply situation means I won't have to resist too much!
So far as a dual time watch goes, the Exp2 Polar is my tool of choice. The GMT masters look too proportionally and stylistically similar to the Sub date for me. Great looking watches all, but I wanted something more different. (Or maybe I only think I think that because I can't get on an AD Pepsi SS list). |

The Sub and GMT are classics. I’m not convinced another Sub would add anything to your collection. Why not go for a land, air, sea trio?

I would be happy with that trio.

Personally I've never understood the appeal of 3 watches that look very similar. Unless you really need a GMT/Diving functionality, for which you would prefer 2 different watches, why not just keep a sub/GMT and buy something else totally by combining money for other 2 watches ... you could get a Patek or A. Lange or even AP if thats your liking ...

Sure, that works. Although personally, I'd swap out the black sub with another diver, like a SD43 or Pelagos.
