wanna see inside a rolex??

I know alot of you guys dont get to see inside a rolex all the time so here are a couple of pictures I took a little while earlier tonight..I had to replace a rotor on a rolex,and the movements are just a magnificent marvel of tiny technology at work-so without further adue...I give you 3075..,..unmasked..

I really dont work on movements that much...at least I didnt use to..times are tuff and if I can I just do the work myself these days..the technician was going to charge me 200 for what took me twenty minutes to do myself..

Nice and how did you learn to do all this???

Thanks for sharing the pics, I ruined plenty of watches as a kid
trying to see what the inside looked like, now I know what the inside
of a Rolex looks like and I don't have to ruin my watch :)

sure..you just have to have a steady hand...play plenty of "operation" and your set..
also buy a book,it REALLY helps!!

This this book qualify Steve? I've read it from cover to cover and its the bible of watchmaking.

That would be nice so then I wouldn't have to sell my Rolex watches to fund my new ones. Do you know that George Daniels has worn a Rolex Datejust for decades and everyone assumes that he has a stock DJ when in fact he has a custom co-axel movement inside made by him years ago that blows away the original movement in accuracy and reliablity.

actually I have...lol..and apparently there are a few extra parts in there you dont need...lol..because the darn watch worked flawlessly for a year after that..(maybe it still is..lost track of it after that)..
