Sauna and steam room

I know people have put this up before I'm only asking as when I went to pick my explorer 2 up, the ad said to take it off when I go in the shower as there not designed to go in so I couldn't help myself and said what if I went exploring and went through a waterfall which you can do in some places not that likely to go exploring or going through a waterfall to which was no answer but a look that said just go away.

So my question is do you take yours in or take it off. Thanks

They are designed to go wherever your body can go.

My sub has been in the steam room and sauna a lot. Also, showers, pools, lakes, oceans etc etc

Although it may be perfectly ok for your watch but it just doesn’t feel right wearing a time keeper in sauna.

Your AD has no clue. Use mine for years already in sauna steam bath etc. Much safer than keeping them in the locker room

Let's see...I think we have another claim for the "AD said" department. Next time you're talking with them, take this with you.

Nice, Larry. Fecal Hz. LOL

OP, it's a watch, wear it. Wear it everywhere. It's water resistant. You know what that means? It means that it can get wet.

I concur that wearing a watch in a sauna is like wearing socks in the pool, but given the choice of doing that or leaving my watch in the locker, I'm wearing it.

Forget about the watch, it’s the phone inside the sauna that’s even more amazing!

I read the news and corporate emails. It's better than looking at the guy next to me.

I don't know that it was specifically "designed" for it, but my YM went from the pool to the steam room to the shower earlier. Still ticking, and cleaner than it was yesterday.

I wore my DJ in a whirlpool, sauna and steam room after work (and working out) for 20 years straight. It wasn't until I joined here that I found out how wrong it was to wear your watch while working out.

I never had issues with it due to chemicals in the whirlpool, humidity from the steam room or heat from the sauna. Or even dirty looks from others working out who were offended that I wore a nice watch while exercising.

My suggestion is “Do Anything with your Rolex.”

When it’s broke, or if it ever gets broke, Just Fix It...

Any other questions?
