One fetish leads to an other, then another...

Hey, howdy hey... funny how the whole Panerai thing is like a fetish... that is, a fetish for having a wall clock on your wrist. This has lead to the next logical fetish... leather. You get sucked into strap mayhem and figuring out what kind of leather straps you want/need, don't like, etc.

And then today I put on the OEM rubber dive strap. Next fetish... rubber. This thing is so comfortable and enhances the tool watch look of the piece. I quite like it, and I didn't think I would.

Rubber and leather... what's next?

My two favorite Panerai straps are the rubber dive strap and the carbon fiber. Pretty good, considering the rubber one comes with the watch and the carbon fiber is cheap, compared to the leather and crocodile.

Looks like another leather fetish guy to compete with Daren. But as long as you do not feel the need to buy whips etc,its just the Panerai thing, and quite normal.

Actually got the whips and handcuffs first... then the Panerai.

I know the strap thing can turn into something crazy, so I'm trying to exercise restraint. Only buying a few. I should have one delivered today, and another in a week or so.

Now if I can find someone to trade my OEM honey gator for a black gator, I'll be a happy boy.

I totally agree John, the rubber comfort strap is the most underrated of the PAM straps.

I have a secret: Had my Luminor Marina for 3 years now; bought black strap (both matte and croc) and deployment clasp. I have not tried the rubber strap yet....might switch it this weekend.

JJ, why do you have to spoil thread after thread with surreptitious references to your sheep?
