Very nice, I'd probably go for the white dial.

I like the first one.
However, I would prefer to see some High-Beats...

Any luck tracking down the sbgj231 Ben? I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled and none seem to have popped up for resale.

I'm not that tuned in to the GS market in the US. Do you think there is a pool of US buyers for this 53k GS?

53k, that's pretty much on par with the watches coming out of the Micro Artist Studio, wow. Must be some special painting on the dial......

My next next GS purchase will be the first one listed above or the newly released SBGA375, but heard that the light blue dial SS model is like another 2k higher in price if not more. Plus you get 2 different Croc straps included in the box also which I would never use. Beautiful watches.

Stunning dial

I guess the blue version will be sold out very quickly despite the much higher price compared to the standard model.
A stunning dial, which is guaranteed to be even more fascinating in real life than in the photos.

Love the platinum and rose gold but really torn on the steel one. Think I need to see irl. Weird these got reannounced. They were Announced back in the spring and than all of a sudden this week all the watch media announced them again like it was a brand new thing.

Beautiful pieces. Such impeccable detail. They almost look like computer renders and not actual photos. I'll take all 3 please. lol

GS pics are always like that. I think they do their watches a great disservice with the pics. Grand Seiko always look best in the flesh.....or metal.

Well they are only making 20 of them so yeah I think they will find 20 buyers...Or not we will see. Wise not to make many as the market is definitely thin at this price point.

Yeah unless I am missing something why not sping for the 8 Day or Eichi II at that price.

Is the first one just a variation of the snowfkake but with a bluish dial and a couple of straps thrown in?

From the pictures, they appear to have different texture on the dials. The US edition seems more smooth whereas the Snowflake has a "creased-paper" effect.

Other differences: The SF is 41mm and has a titanium case/bracelet. SF is also not limited. US edition is 40mm, offered in SS and PM, and they are all limited.

I like the US edition in SS a lot. Will be speaking to my local Seiko contact if they can help me source it

These aren’t the first precious metal GSes – Seiko have done it before, prior to recent branding change.
Those were similarly limited in number, but the US maybe saw only 3-4 (of each metal variant) officially imported for AD orders fulfilment.

Eichi is limited to less than 25 per annum, and the Pt and RG 8-day are 20 each.
Size of the latter models will preclude them from consideration, and these are limited in totality, with the Pt variant being the only PM GS with a bracelet – typically they’re offered only on leather.

Size would not preclude the 8 days from my consideration but I understand. Also the SS comes on bracelet here not the platinum unless I’m misunderstanding you.

I think GS is also pushing the market to see how far people are willing to pay. The platinum VFA sold out quickly(though it's a global model) so perhaps it gave Seiko confidence to offer another platinum GS.
