Good looking watch, I wonder if there will be smaller version, looks a bit too big for my taste.

That's quite nice. Wonder if 40mm would have been better though.

Here’s another. Not bad at $3,200 on the strap.

Too bad, catching the tail end of the hub cap craze. 36/38 max for non sport watches for me.

Wow...beautiful. It looks like it may wear smaller than what the size suggests so it might work out for many of us here.

Cmon Tudor get ahead of the “smaller is better” wave.

I like that.
It’ll wear feel smaller than the size bc of weight and the neat crown. |

Very nice but far too large for a dress watch.

I think the open back is unnecessary. The MT5641 isn’t the prettiest movement

I just don't understand why they are making a dress watch at 42
It should be in 36 and 40 (and i choose 40 because the ideal is 38 but too close to 36 :D |

And while giant watches are clearly no longer the "in" thing, 42mm is hardly huge -- it's just much more sporty than formal. They're probably aiming for that sporty market segment, even with the somewhat classy styling. |

It's a nice watch; I agree it's meant for the masses who seem to like larger watches. Maybe like the 58 they'll also come out with a smaller version eventually. I keep seeing their commercials on TV; fun to watch both Beckham and Gaga showing of their Tudors! I agree about the sapphire back as well; it's a very plain looking movement. Seems like it's another nod to a popular check mark on novice buyer's lists.

At 38mm it would have been a real winner for me.

A few years back, Rolex applied for (and received) a patent for a "big date" or "dual date", so this is how they decided to use it???
Would have thought Rolex would have come out with a larger DJ with this feature and or in combo with moonphase similar to the Cellini. I do agree with most that have posted, this should have been 38 or 40mm max. Not a huge fan of large dress watches unless its's a Patek complication of sorts. |

I think despite the size, the look of dial and hands are too feminine. I’m considering a few dress watches and this just doesn’t appeal.

Some manufacturers are getting way out of hand with huge watch sizes. Even up beyond 44-46mm. JEESH! At that point they are becoming 'arm clocks'.

Love the blue on white dial and the shape of the hour indices.

I also think it’s nice looking, but as others have said, not the size I’d want for a more dressy watch. Then again, I like my sport watches at 40mm, so YMMV.

Missed a trick. 38-40mm would have been perfection.
