Rolex Datejust 36 power reserve less than 48 hours

Good Morning/Evening Gentlemen,

I purchased a Rolex Datejust few months ago brand new. While I love the watch, I have a concern in regards to power reserve. It lasts less than 48 hours.

I tested it once winding it around 40 times and realized that within the 48 hours, it doesn't show the right time, its running slow then.

Do I need to wind them every morning? Is the watch designed to perform for 24 hours?

Any answers would really be appreciated.
