16710 Z serial Coke GMT II for $10k?

Visited Tourneau yesterday with my wife and was surprised to see very clean (like brand new) Z serial Coke GMT Master II 16710. Not engraved rehaut, and not 3186 from minute handle wiggle test, but even so $10k for this watch seemed like a pretty good deal.

However, no box or papers. How can Tourneau not have B/P for such a watch?

Anyway, the point of my post. Is a MINTY Z serial 3185 Coke GMT Master II a good price if missing box and papers?

Sorry, didn't take any pics. I will if I go back and buy it.

Even if not a 3186, Z series 16710 will still command slightly more of a premium due to last year of that model GMT.

Tourneau probably acquired it in a trade, hence no box or papers. Plenty of 16710 go for sale here w/o boxes & papers. That would not be an issue for me. You can send to RSC for a service, and it will be returned with papers.

See if you can shave some $$$ off the price. I have that same GMT (Z series/Coke) that I picked up in 2014, mint, w/box & papers for less than $6K. As much as I like the watch, am not sure if I would pay 10K for it were I in the market today for one.

Not sure what is meant by “last year of that model GMT”, as the serial letters did not represent specific years, but Z was not the last serial letter for the 16710. It was M.

I’ll clarify; Z serial was the last with the 3185 movement, which also began to include the 3186 movement towards end of production. M should be all 3186. That is what meant.

The 16710 never had an engraved rehaut.

What is really cool about the 16710 is you can change the inserts yourself in about a minute. Coke,Pepsi and Black take your pick and if you really want to get creative go from the oyster to jubilee bracelets so many different looks in one watch. I don't think I will ever sell my D series just love it

It’s a good price if it’s absolutely Mint with all links etc...AND if you want the watch. They’re not making any more...so they’ll likely only get more expensive.

I think it’s ok. Converted to sterling is give or take £7.8/8k which is roughly where I think that would be pitched.

From T, right price, if it is a full set. From a smaller or private seller, seems a bit rich. Without B&P I'd move along as it might be important down the line.

Watchfinder has a Z serial stick dial for £13k ,, over the past few years prices of 5 digit gmt masters are going up on a constant rate
