BLRO On Chrono24, What´s The Deal ?

How does the grey market actually work for example on this reference ? I did a search for the 126710 BLRO and 227 offers came up with prices ranging from 17K for a used one all the way up to 26K for a brand new unworn, with quite a few offers well above 20K that make our trusted sellers watches at 18.5K look very reasonable.

My question is are these watches being actively traded at these prices in the real world ? I cannot immagine the listings without some degree of truth behind a market but then again I am not a specialist on this type of transactions. Any thoughts ?

I tried buying a watch there once, which did not go well. Mostly it was the Seller but the site wasn't very helpful with handling the situation. Bought the watch online from a grey dealer store in the U.S. (put it in my card, checked out etc.), then transferred the funds to sort of a trust account overseas for safer transaction. Seller gets back to me and says they sold the watch to someone else whose money they received first. I was out about $80 in fees for the money transfer to the trust account and back. Asked seller for reimbursement and seller denied. Asked site to help me get reimbursed or at warn seller or anything. Nothing came of it. Nada. Ironically, I had just signed up here on this site and was "afraid" to buy from a trusted seller. Silly me.

As described above..people are fishing to get the best price. If there’s no interest then I guess the price starts to drop. Obviously the high price is currently based on the BLRO being seen as a hot item and it is possible that some people are purchasing at those prices. But we’ll never know for sure.
