Thinking about flipping my DJ 41 for a Bluesy. Am I crazy?

My collection looks like this:

DJ 36 on a black leather strap (first nice watch)
TT YM with white dial (Dad's watch)
114060 (beater)
DJ 41 fluted with blue dial on oyster

I do enjoy my DJ 41. The issue is that it's a perfect "do it all" watch that is part of an, albeit small, collection.

I've always loved the Bluesy. It and the DD are probably my two Rolex grails. Just adding it isn't really an option right now, and I want a blue dial watch, so I thought about flipping my DJ 41 for it. I'm in a suit a lot, so I would rotate it with the DJ and YM during the week. Thoughts? Would my collection become too redundant with two TT watches and two Subs?

Personally I’d add the Bluesy - and keep the 41 — it is a super versatile reference that has a place in any rotation. I’m also a huge fan of the Bluesy - however - the fact that it has A LOT of wrist presence makes me lean towards adding vs trading.

The subtle classic style of the 41 - will be missed for sure.

Just my .02

I'd get the Bluesy, one DJ is enough for me, one sub is not.

I voted to keep the DJ41. It's a great way to have a blue dial in your collection, I think.

Do it, you can never and I mean never have enough Subs. The LB dial is amazing.

in my opinion, once you think you want to flip a watch - its as good as already being done.

Unless the watches in question were gifts from my wife, in which case I'm sinning by even thinking of flipping them anyhow!

Otherwise, what you say is so darned true!

Bluesy is awesome... Beats a DJ in my books anytime.
Plus you already have a DJ 36 on strap...

Edit:

Thread needs some pics for enhancement...
For some odd reason, lol... pictures just don't do his watch justice...
Nonetheless , the Blue is absolutely stunning...

Flip for the Bluesy. Honestly I've owned pretty much every single model Rolex that is available except the Cellini line. The bluesy is one of the nicest looking and iconic watches you can buy.

I'd flip the DJ solely because you have it on the oyster and I think DJs should be on Jubilee.

Get the bluesy.

Why is this a crazy thought? The Bluesy is awesome and a lot of wrist pop. I wore one as a everyday watch for 18 years. I personally get bored of alll SS watches. I like them but my heart likes some pm on my sports watch. If your personal style is craving a Bluesy, then jump in. FYI...It is “not” a stealth watch and thank god it isn’t.

If I could keep both, I would.

If it has to be one or the other, it's Blusey all the way for me.

It looks more subtle than you might think in natural light on the wrist. But try before you buy if possible.
