Rolex GMT Master ll 116710LN and BLNR

Hi everyone,
I currently own the Rolex GMT 116710LN and have an opportunity to add the GMT BLNR to my collection. Is it unusual to have both in one collection ?

I wouldn’t say that it is unusual. If that is what you like then do it.

Why? They are almost identical watches with a half blue bezel.

Buy something else. Way way too much overlap.

I just added a second GMT last week. I already know which one is my favorite, whether I decide to keep both remains to be seen.

Don’t worry about what other people think. If you want it, then get it! Opinions are like... well, everyone has been one! Honestly, the only opinion that matters is yours! Don’t buy it because it is the current craze, or because it is being discontinued, or because.... if you truly want it, then buy it! If you buy it, then change your mind... then you can give it to me!

I traded in a month old 116710LN to buy a BLNR. I couldn't be happier with the decision. The BLNR has kept perfect time and has a great casual and sturdy elegance. I have a PM GMT that just sits in the safe. It's great to have choices.

Nothing wrong with owning both if you like them.

You may want to diversify to other models. IMO It looks too similar & also worth noting on some angles depending on the lighting the BLNR can look like all black. Another option is to trade your LN but you may have to pay a premium.

Personally I would unload the 116710LN and get the BLNR. I would add a black sub or hulk sub. One sub and one GMT.

I'd keep one and get a sub or dj41 as a second depending on your lifestyle

Agree with this, but I’m biased.

I have both, there is some overlap but I like having both bezels. I use the ln for work and the Batman to go out mainly and as a change of pace at work. I will keep both for now but if I like something else more I will trade one

Which one to keep? Well, that's personal choice.

I chose the BLNR, but what some random guy on the internet did shouldn't affect your decision.

If you like it but it

Who cares what people think

However if you think u want to.spread money around to other pieces
I would personally sell the LN and buy the BLNR and use LN money to buy a
diver like a Sub or Seadweller
