Facebook Raffles
Merry Christmas TRF community!
I am a memeber if a few “secret” Facebook groups where they raffle off Rolex’s and other watches. Most raffle tickets are between $600-$800 each. You can buy a ticket to the “main” watch raffle for that price. Or you can buy less expensive tickets ($50-$100) to a “mini” raffle in which the winner receives 1 ticket to the “main” watch raffle. The “main” winning ticket number would be based off the powerball number. The “mini” winning ticket number would be based off a randomized wheel spin from random.org I’m considering starting my own weekly raffle. If any of you would be interested, I’d love to hear from you guys! Also what you’d like to see getting raffled off.

A spot for the Rolex raffle on TRF is less than $150.
$600-$800 seems really steep unless there are less than 20 people in the drawing

There would be 20-24 spots in the raffle.

Still really steep for a 1 in 20 chance

I do this for beer all the time but would never pay a premium for a Rolex raffle. I consider the TRF raffle a donation as that’s all it is.
People raffle off all kinds of stuff on Facebook and then just drop ship it. Cracks me up how dumb people are.
