FS: 1957 Rolex GMT-Master ref.6542 Gilt w/Bakelite Bezel

S/N: 262k (1957)
Case: Original case has never been polished. Lugs remain thick and even with original sharp beveled edges. Original bakelite bezel insert has aged to a unique tropical color scheme and remains in excellent condition with no cracks or notable damage. Serial and reference numbers remain crisp and fully visible. The last three digits of the serial number have been blurred for privacy.
Dial: Original dial is in fantastic condition and remains very glossy. Surface has light crazing typical with age. Original radium handset.
Bracelet: Original SWISS rivet with 65 endlinks. Bracelet shows minimal stretch.
Accessories: None.
Notes: A very attractive example of a 6542 GMT-Master that has survived in original format, even retaining the original lollipop seconds specific to 1957. A rare opportunity to own an untouched 6542.
