Very interesting that they would include this watch in the video. Here’s the relevant screen grab.

Faaaaster thanks for adding the picture

Love it crown Guards and all ..what a watch..
What a waiting list...a baby black bay red with crown Guards and a bezal with grooves in and looks to have strap holes in the sides for easy removal of straps like a proper tool watch
.....I want one and if it does come out and less than £3000 ..it will sell like hot cakes

Really love how they position the brand in the video. Can feel that I might have a BB 58 on the horizon in 2019

Great video and I would love a new Tudor sub. I could see this watch stealing the show at Basel 2019 if it’s released. The new movement in the black bay 58 would alllow them to make this watch in the perfect proportions.

Noooo....that's the red bezel prototype from the 80's. It was the base for the red black bay. Tudor likes showing that one off now and then.

It looks great, but I hope saskmh is right. Tudor really seems to be building its own image now and a sub homage feels like a step back to me. They’d be way too dive heavy as well. I’d prefer they fill out the BB58 line.

I wouldn’t see it as a step back, Isn’t the black bay a homage to their original submariner.

That would be a great watch. I really hope they also shrink down the GMT into the 58 case. That would also be hot.

Bb58 GMT would be a real winner. Maybe in a coke variation?

The cyclops certainly supports the theory it's the prototype from the past. No modern Tudors have it, which is a shame. It's so much easier to read the date on my Tudor Sub, compared with my (otherwise superb) Pelagos.

Very interesting.
I hope it’ll be the same 40mm size as the Rolex sub

Pics of that watch show up on the Tudor instagram feed every couple of months, for the past two years. I am personally hopeful for such a piece. I don’t prefer the burgundy/gilt of the 41.
