Railroad Approved Accutron 214...Photo and Strap suggestions??

This was another junk watch that I rescued. New battery, clean the case, and a light polish of the crystal is all she needed. It had a stretch band on it, but I hate those. Any suggestions on a strap? Maybe a brown leather? Not seeing many pics of these with different straps on them.

I would go wit black leather, I think it would match up better with the hands and numerals.

Good point. I'm trying to figure out what grain would look best. Glossy? Matte? I may get a few to rotate with it.

First of all, very nice and great job on the restoration.

As for strap options, I agree that black works for this piece. I am not sure about the style though. I think you need to try a few options to see what looks best (to your eyes!).

I generally like brown straps with gold cases but you have to see how it works with the black hands and numerals.

Nice job- very cool watch! I think a very deep brown matte strap would look great!

I put this strap on an old Chrono I picked up off of eBay and had restored. May be too light for that piece. But brown does look good with a gold toned case. Hirsch strap I believe.
