How does warranty work for when you purchase pre-owned watches? Does it carry over to the new owner? What about the additional 3 years for registering online - does that carry over, as well even though it may not be registered under your name originally?

It carries over. But it is not an additional 3 years, its 1 additional year for a total of 3 years.
