new random serial numbers
I have just purchased a new submariner date, and serial number has 1 letter + 7 digits. I have been informed that new production watches (2010 or newer) come with this random configuration, compared to previous models that would come with 1 letter + 6 digits.
Is this information correct ? I have the letter Z at the beginning and I was concern that watch could have been produced in 2006 !! thank you all |
