Strap Change on a 5712R

Does anyone have a good reference on how to change the strap on a 5712R. I’d like to get a few Rubber B straps so I have some versatility but am having trouble finding instructions. Also, a list of specific tools needed to accomplish this would be helpful. If this was already posted somewhere, I apologize I was not able to find it. Lastly, I live an hour and a half to the closest AD so it’s not an easy feat to just have them swap it out.

Thanks!!

J

I’d go this extra mile to change it at an AD.

PLease post some pics when you replace it.

It's not that bad. Just the screws are tiny. Good set of screwdrivers and eyes and you can do it.

My recommendation is to get some high quality screwdrivers from Otto Frei.

2 at the case. Slide out the bar which holds the strap. 1 small one at the 6 o'clock & a larger one at the 12. 4 total screws. It really is not that bad but definitely need a comfortable space & good screwdriver as mentioned by the other member. If not done properly you can damage the screws and thats not good! If in doubt always take it to a professional.
