Kermit or Hulk.... which one goes

Hi all

I’m in the process of slimming down my collection to find a 5726 Patek

My 116618LN will be going along with either my hulk or Kermit

This will leave me with my Daytona C and my 16710 Pepsi (which is for my son as it’s his birth year)

My question is, should I let the hulk or the Kermit go along with the gold sub? I like both equally although they don’t get too much wrist time anymore as it’s pretty much all taken up by the Daytona. My wife thinks I’m mad letting two watches go and adding cash for a Patek but what do they know

say good bye to both green watches and keep the gold and get the patek.

thats the way to do that in my opinion. reap the peak of the SS market, hold onto a special big lump of goldness and get upscale as well.

To be honest, I haven’t really got on with gold sub all that well. I find it a bit heavy and blingy for me. I much prefer steel

Is it a flat 4 Kermit? If so, I’d keep that

The Hulk has to go. While I like both, the 5 digit LV is the original 50th anniversary sub. Gotta keep that no question.

The Kermit will bring the most money if you are into it at retail or less. I prefer the Hulk but it can be replaced as it is still a production model. If you are into the Daytona-C at retail you might solve all of your problems with a YG Sub and Daytona-C trade. Let us know what you decide.

I sold hulk thinking it would be easier to replace if I ever wanted it again.

I’m leaning toward letting the hulk go. There seems to be plenty out there if I decide to replace one day. The Kermit is a complete set and they look like they are harder to come by now

I like your thoughts here. I like both but the LVc will be easier to source since it’s still in production. I’m not much into YG either.
Good luck!

Obviously it’s a fantastic reference but the 5 digit reference doesn’t really do much for me. I prefer the CE, bigger case and of course bracelet. I also never cared for the black and green combo. I’d lose the kermit

Unless you got a great deal on the gold Sub or bought it used, I would keep it. Not worth the hit unless you really cannot stand it and then there will be days you will miss it, trust me.

Does the Kermit have the traditional case, not the maxi. If so keep the Kermit.
Not a big fan of the maxi case.
