New From VA (USA)
Hi All,
I am new here - only posted 1 particular comment on a Hulk a while ago. I did not want to post until I was ready to buy a Rolex. So After I saved up enough for an 114300 (OP 39) - I then started getting really attracted to the current no date submariner. So I waited - get on "waiting lists" and never heard back - I started to look at Omegas ... and something about them (Even though they make great watches) just does not do it for me. So moving on (since I doubt I'll ever find a Submariner) I started looking into Explorer I's ... again seems like and impossible endeavor. So I told myself If i do not find a Submariner (No Date) or an Explorer I - I will be looking at a Datejust (Black Dial) or a OP 39 (Black Dial) - and sealing the deal in 2 weeks. |

Welcome!
Get the model you want/heart the most, don't settle. It doesn't matter if you have to wait a while longer. Go to Shahram at Lenkersdorfer in Tyson's. He'll find what you look for, especially if you put a deposit up front (those orders get priority at Rolex USA). |

Welcome! So is the Sub and Explorer still on the RADAR? Or have you decided to get the DJ/OP?

Welcome to the forum
My advice (not that you’re asking) is to slow down. Don’t just buy a watch for the sake of it. If you truly want the Submariner hold out. They aren’t impossible to come by with a little homework. |

My first choice would be a Sub 2nd (close) would be the explorer. I absolutely love the bracelet on the Sub - nothing comes close imo I never felt a more comfortable bracelet on any watch. The DJ and OP are kind of my 2nd choice pairing - great watches but imo a little more on the dressy side and I wanted something that can do both (The Sub and Explorer I seem to fit that bill perfectly). I also prefer time only pieces.

I'll prob look around one last time - I will most definitely not pay a penny over MSRP (unless its sales tax)....and I want it to be new from an AD - both of which make it impossible to find a no date sub. |

Keep looking/trying. If it is the Sub 114060 you want, don't settle or get impatient. You might have to wait 1-3 months but it should be worth it.
Buy out of state and you can save on sales taxes... Hit those phones! :-) |
