Incoming Grand Seiko. Beauty in simplicity.

Introducing the dressy #SBGW035 into my collection! This charming fellow ticks these boxes for me:⁣

-Classic 37mm case ✔️⁣

-The super accurate and beautifully finished 9S64 Hand-wound movement with 72hrs of power reserve ✔️⁣

-No date ✔️⁣

-Creamy ivory dial with blued-seconds hand ✔️⁣

A simple watch but elevated to the superlative Grand Seiko standards with their signature Zaratsu-polished applied indices, hands and case. This is the best watch to tell others that “It’s just a Seiko”. 😏⁣

Thanks! Found it in a greydealer shop. The watch was from 2017 and absolutely minty!

Phew—that is stunning. I’ve always loved the mechanical GS. The box crystal and hands are truly stunning. That’s a great find. Congratulations and wear it in good health.

Gorgeous! It's a real shame what happened to the new Grand Seiko dials.
The followup to the SBGW031 and SBGW035 look awfully unbalanced compared to the originals.

I just love how they make something so simple look so intricate at the same time. The sharp bevels on the hands and markers. And that perfect cream color. Love these things!

If Patek made this watch and slapped a 25k pricetag on it, people would be lining up in front of the boutiques. Just sayin
