Rolex Day Date 36 - Fair Price?
I've been considering adding a gold day-date 36 (118238) to my collection.
With that, I wanted to see what sort of discounts the community has been getting on these watches. Anyone purchased one within the past year? If so, mind sharing your experience? I should note, this will be my fourth watch from the AD in the past year. Thanks! |

I would have a hard time buying new even with a 30% discount. Round numbers you would still be around $25-26K. There are a plethora of 118238s on the market ranging from $13K to $20K. However, if you want brand new and you have no intentions or selling or trading in the next 10-15 years then go for it.
