126711 CHNR. RootBeer. INCOMING.

Just picked this bad boy up. Feels good to be a winner.

That makes it 2 GMTs for me. LN and now CHNR. Watch looks incredible in person. I understand why it’s going for such a premium.

I would wear that watch anytime but would not drink that coffee ever...congrats on your GMT, looks stunning!

One of my bosses has a TT DJ 41 that is RG/SS. The combo looks great - understated, and I don’t think as restrictive with regards to skin tone as solid RG watches are.

quite true, the SS blends in well with the RG making it understated in a nice way.

That was a concern of mine initially. I saw pictures from Baselworld 2018 and thought wow that’s amazing but a) isn’t practical b) would look too blingy.

I had the impression that precious metal wouldn’t hold up... but then reading the forums many members have work their two tone bluesys for a long time without hassle. The watch definitely has a little extra POW but not overwhelming.

The OP’s choice of reading material is far more interesting than the coffee cup. I agree the GMT is a stunning piece; I passed on it twice, but I’m rethinking it!
