Steel Oysterflex bracelet?
Hi,
Doing a bit of research into which rubber strap to get for my Sub and saw some people had oysterflex rubber on their Explorers and Subs. How is that possible? I thought the oysterflex was only on precious metal models? Also is it possible to buy the bracelet from an AD. I searched the threads with the above watches but these questions weren’t asked. you can get them, but you need to have the watch it goes on if you ask an AD or RSC for one. Plus they are like $600 retail, or some absurdly expensive number. Im sure you can source some here.

I ended up buying the oysterflex band for my Explorer 1 while overseas in Milan, Italy. Was extremely lucky as I wasn't able to fulfill that request elsewhere in the US, Australia or other parts of Europe.

You must have a very good relationship with your AD in order for him to order you one. otherwise impossible to get them. Make sure to measure your wrist because it come with different size. Also you will need a aftermarket end piece around $80 on the web.
