Watch cleaning

How often do you clean your Rolex?

Can someone recommend a brush, cleaner and cloth?

I will rinse with warm water every day after I wear it. Maybe once a week I will add dish soap to the mix. Dry with a microfiber cloth.

That's what I do but I use lemon hand soap. Gets all that sweat off lol. I only do this for the much older pieces. My modern pieces, I don't do much unfortunately. Maybe cape cod polish every now and then

Whenever I look down and it seems dirty enough to be washed. I use soap and a children’s toothbrush

No set time, whenever it looks and feels dirty. Since I'm on a rotation and wear each watch about twice a week, then I guess on average, every three times I wear it if I noticed water spots on it from washing my hands or greasy finger prints on the polished areas. Warm Water, hand soap and blot dry with towel, followed by wipe dry with micro-fiber cloth. I stopped using soft tooth-brushes because I think they led to micro scratches, but I can't say that with 100% confidence whether it is due to toothbrush or regular wear.

Fairy liquid to wash and an old cotton cloth (or t-shirt, in my case) to dry. You can get a children’s tootbruth (softer bristles) for use every now and again. Just make sure the crown’s fully screwed in.

Once a month, I gently rinse my Rolex under cold, filtered water, and then carefully dry with an extra soft microfiber cloth.

Get wristclean and make sure to buy their soft brush. The dirt will come right off. Better than soap and water.

Only use soap and water. A brush can marr the polished finishes.

That ^^

I like Dawn as it cuts through grease the best compared to hand soap.

If I'm bored enough, take off the bracelet and drop in the GemOro ultrasonic cleaner.

I use a small ultra soft baby wash cloth on my PM Sub. No brush on gold.

There’s an excellent online company that specializes in Watch cleaning products in the USA called wrist clean who sell polishing cloths, drying cloths, Watch spray & brushes. I have used these products & I would vouch for these products. I have been using them for the last five years & they are very good. You can google this company & just so you know I am in no way involved in this company

Dawn, warm water and a baby wash cloth. Every night after you brush your teeth in the bathroom sink. Wash it every night and there will never be any nasty dirt, grime, dead skin, sweat build up. I am OCD about cleanliness.

A soft toothbrush, one for sensitive teeth, warm water and soap. Wet the watch, soap it up and gently brush. Rinse. Dry with fiber cloth or something soft for a paint finish on a car. Good as new. Rolex uses a steel which can be polished to a high shine but it is softer than standard 316 steel. So an abrasive or rough towel or cloth will scratch the polished areas with small lines visible in bright light. Gold is even worse.

I’ll post this again: You better check your gums if you’re worried about scratching your beloved watch using a human toothbrush.

Try a product called Wrist Clean. I’ve been using it since I got into Rolex and it comes out like new every time. I use a very soft toothbrush as well.
