A. Lange & Söhne Saxonia - An Obtainable Grail
Hi,
Well, I managed to finally put together a review on this stunner from A. Lange & Söhne. If you enjoy macro stuff I think this footage is decent, and it should give you a good idea on what the finishing is like on a $15k watch from one of the world's best watch brands: If you don't like video, that’s cool, here's a summary: * Dimensions of 37mm x 7.7mm. Yea its thin. However the case is quite solid/ dense in weight, which helps the watch sit on the wrist. * Lug to lug of 43mm. * Lug width of 19mm :(. I guess its not that bad, but 18 or 20 would be great. * Price is around $19k USD new, however slightly used these can be had for +20% off that. Keep in mind this is the "entry" watch into the brand. * Simple dial, however very well balanced and finishing is awesome all round. * On the wrist comfort is good, the lug shape and case weight help the watch sit on the wrist well. Case height means it'll sit under basically any cuff. * Caseback is fire. Great watch overall, and one that Im falling completely in love with! Have a great weekend, and as always hit me up if you have any questions. Chris |
