Help with YG Daytona choice

Hello forum members!
I have been thinking about adding a YG Daytona to my collection.
I narrowed it down to tho models..
Which one would you choose and why?
I like the legibility of the black dial but I also like the elegance of the white dial...
Nice problem to have...

Option number 1 for me. Something about it looks slightly more vintage to me. It has red accents as well and something about it just pops more. The second is also very nice but my eye goes to the whole while in the first I am drawn to the dial.

Thanks for the quick reply!
It has a little of a vintage look to it as well. I have looked at the OF models too, but I like the heft of full gold

I like the white dial too...the dressier dial balances the sportiness of the watch nicely

black would pop more and i like the contrast more

i'm not the biggest fan of white dials, they're clean but a bit too plain for me

Option 2 looks like the TT dial, and that isn't my favorite look. Option 1 looks very vintage to me. I bet if they put a dial like that on a SS model, there would be a 5 year wait.

What else is in your collection? Or is this a one and only?

Newman. I’d prefer it on OF to quiet it down a bit

I should have mentioned it earlier. I apologize. My collection comprises a white ceramic Daytona, BLRO, SD43 and Speedy Hesalite. On the waiting list for a PP 5524 Calatrava pilot Tiffany stamped dial in rose gold and a black ceramic Daytona.

I agree with your assessment, I just haven’t warmed up to OF yet

Do you think it’s too in your face? I know there’s nothing subtle about a full gold Daytona...

I don't. I work with a lot of people that have no clue about Rolex and no one has said anything about. Which in fine by me. Now the people that do know about Rolex. Say wow that a nice Daytona.

Is the color of the subdials the same as the gold case?

I’d definitely go with the black dial, given your collection. It’s a beautiful watch !

They are closer to the color of the brushed part of the bracelet.

I just happen to be wearing it today. It is my Friday and Saturday go to watch.

White dial would be my choice. I love the bits of red with the red hand on the black dial one. If they had that on the white, I would love it even more! Both versions looks great though.

In light of your collection, I would definitely go for the first one (Marsupilami dial). Less difficult to rock than the white dial and an absolutely fantastic piece!

I would buy the first one, because of the PN dial, it’s awesome!!! So rare to find a YG Rolex with a awesome dial like that, definitely would be my choice in PM Rolex.
