Basel Disappointment

Is it just me, or is anyone else disappointed in this year’s Basel releases?

A GMT II on a jubilee bracelet? The two-tone Sea-dweller?

I’m not a fan of the jubilee and the sea-dweller doesn’t seem like the type of tool watch that should be two-tone.

Thoughts?

Nope, no one else is disappointed. You might officially be the first.

Don’t worry. I’m sure there’s watches released in the past 2 years you’re still waiting for...

Are you still rocking the 28.8kbps modem? You got here like 53 hours and 968 posts late for this topic!

I'm ok with the repost, I think it can't be posted enough how much Rolex disappoints in so many ways. Perhaps they're throwing 2019 under the bus to increase the grey market sales of older models!

I’m quite happy with my GMTII, which I’ve had since it came out! Lol

But I’m an oyster bracelet guy on sports watches

You’re not alone. Candidly, this just continues the trend, year-after-year, of my disappointment with Rolex Basel offerings.
