Is this Rolex seal Genuine ???

One seller in my country selling this watch dated 2019.

I am considering if the seal is authentic or not ?
It looks strange.

I’ve seen them on several new watches for quite awhile now, but that doesn’t make the watch real. If you’re buying at an AD, you should have no worries.

I had the same seal on my BLNR when I picked it up from my AD in 2017. It fell off after a couple days of wearing the watch.

it does not come from AD.
It comes from private seller, so i am wondering.

In that case, buy the seller first. That’s the only other advice I can give you.

What seal, the QR tag? Anything unfortunately can be faked. I'd listen to Rich's advice and only buy from a seller you trust. Good luck

I have seen a misshapen (pincushion) sticker like that on watches that were definately fake. I haven't looked at enough real new watches to say if it is common n on them.

You buy the seller in my opinion. For a piece of mind.

I wouldn't trust any stickers if not buying from an AD.

There is a lot more to look at on a potential purchase than a scan code sticker.

Submariner is the most counterfeited Rolex in the world. If you don’t know to how tell real vs. fake, stay away from sketchy sellers. Buy from the AD or a reputable jewelry store with a physical presence.

Like the other posters above, buy the seller first.

But if you’re asking if Rolex stickers watches with that type of QR code instead of the typical translucent one, then yes my subc came with a white background QR code from an AD.

Exactly!
I’m sure ppl could tell with pretty good certainty if you showed the whole piece.

Is there some kind of sticker on the bezel? There appears to be some form of "delamination" happening on the edges of the insert between 40 and 50. A sticker would explain it (I'm not seeing a bezel protector), but if there isn't one, then there's a problem.

If you guys have bought enough Rolex's you'd know that these QR codes exists. Either in this form or printed on the plastic. My SABR has a white sticker on it, but my YM1 has it printed on it.

A bezel protector doesn't mean anything. It's just like when they don't include the white tag or the green plastic rolex tag. Still doesn't matter. Some of my sets are not complete either and they were bought straight from a Rolex AD.

To the OP:
Does warranty card match the rehaut engraving? Does R and X line up correctly on each side to the 10th minute?
And the warranty card you're holding will have a stamp on it where it was purchased from. If it's nearby, walk in; calling an AD to verify this sort of information is normally timewasting.

Like others have said, I don't think you should be basing anything solely on that sticker.

I haven't seen that one and I've bought five new ones in the last 16 months, but that's just me, others say they have.

Looks like the whole watch is wrapped, which is not how Rolex watches come from the factory. Maybe the wrapping is on top of the stickers to add protection, many grey dealers do that, or it could be there to help disguise a fake...

I heard the same. They replicated the same hulk and sold it en-masse - changing a card with a laser engraving is too much work, thus all the replicated watches had same card, same serial in the rehaute. I haven’t seen an article of it, but it should be out there.

Most fakes will have faults on them - one way or the other. I still haven’t seen fakes glue on the protective plastic that Rolex has, but thanks to Rolex 90% of all 2019 watches have had their plastic removed. If you check the replica forums (which I do) you’ll see some people going to great lengths getting original parts for a fake watch. I see the work being too tedious to make a quick buck like that but that’s a whole different topic.

As expressed previously in the thread the OP can check with the AD who sold that watch. They’ll be able to check their system straight off the bat and confirm the sale.

QR codes

I received my 116520 with the same white sticker from a reputable high street shop/ second hand dealer in the UK.
It came along with an authenticity statement.
Additionally, I visited Rolex service center in Athens Greece who confirmed that the watch was authentic. They were a bit suspicious about the we code being on a white piece of paper. In case the watch was a fake Rolex service center must call the police to report the counterfeit and confiscate the fake watch.

Yesterday I bought a Rolex AD, the most important in Spain, an Air King to give to my daughter and carry the same white code on the side. very similar to the code sticker that Tudor uses. So no problem.
