Incoming... at the buzzer!

Got the call this morning from the AD to come by. Up to this point, I had traditionally marked each job change or promotion with a crown but was skeptical I’d be able to do so this time around given the dearth of supply. Well, my last day at work for my current employer is tomorrow, so perhaps it was meant to be. What timing!!! All I can say is that seeing it in person blew me away. The color of the bezel, the way it changes depending on light, how warm and subtle it looks. I’m not a PM guy or a two tone guy ordinarily but this is my 4th Rolex and I’m a little older so feel I can now pull it off. Nice to change it up a bit. People are right, pics do not do this reference justice but here goes anyways. Root Beer!

Congrats! Picking this beauty up tomorrow. Can’t wait!

Looks like you have a few scratches already on the polished links. My Batman picks up scratches easy too but I don’t mind. Can’t wait for tomorrow evening. Thanks for sharing

Love the Rootbeer. Congrats! I’ve had mine for almost 2 months and just got a call from another AD saying they had one available yesterday. Hope it goes to someone like you who is celebrating a life event.

I can see how the pic makes it look scratched already but that’s just smeared fingerprints on the polished center links. That being said, I can definitely appreciate how easily polished links scratch vs the brushed ones on my Sub because of the Datejust my sister has. It’s had a very gentle life vs my Sub and the center links show quite a bit of “patina”. I’m excited for you tomorrow. You’re not gonna be disappointed.

That thing is a beauty. How easily do the polished gold links scratch?

Same to you as well. Nice watch and nice pup. Someone should let me borrow their BLNR so I can shoot my Batpig dog wearing it. She’s great and approves of the new root beer. Both boss ladies in my life approve.

As requested... more pics of the dog. Just realized it’s most appropriate given the brown and black root beer theme.

Only time will tell. But I suspect they’ll show scratches and swirling as easily as any of the other polished center link bracelets. Oh well, they’re meant to be worn and enjoyed, right?
