Incoming Vulcan Submariner

Have added a Vulcan Watch Strap today to a new Submariner.

For those UK or Europe based, in particular, I would recommend giving Vulcan a look. I’m a Rubber-B fan, don’t get me wrong, but when you don’t want to retain the clasp this is a great option - and for those of us in the UK, one can receive this within a day or so. Playing around with the different colour bands is cool, too.

All of that said, I am reminded how classic this Submariner is. I have the No-Date too, but that one stays on a bracelet.

I hate rubbers.

I'm also not a fan of rubber watch straps.

Either a NATO (only on 4 or 5 digit Subs) or a bracelet. Look like a mall divers watch on a rubber strap imo

I don’t know about now, but at one time working off shore you were required to wear your watch on a strap. That way if it got caught on something it could be cut free.
